Astrove for B2B & wholesale.

Price groups. Credit flows. EDI. AI.

B2B and wholesale have entirely different needs from B2C: customer-specific prices, volume discounts, order credit, invoice payment, EDI integration, quick ordering and deep accounting integration. Astrove has all of it in the core, not as a plugin. The AI assistant reads ordering patterns and suggests replenishment to regular customers, generates quotes from price history, and flags customers whose volume has dipped.

In depth. 03

How Astrove fits B2B & wholesale.

European B2B businesses and wholesalers have needs that sit miles away from a standard B2C web shop. Every customer has their own prices, their own credit terms, their own delivery agreement and often their own product catalogue. Standard Shopify or WooCommerce setups need 4–6 separate apps (a B2B plugin, custom customer fields, an accounting connector, a freight app, an EDI bridge, a credit-check plugin) to cover these needs — each priced separately, each a potential break point in the flow.

Astrove gathers the entire B2B stack in one database. When a B2B customer logs in, they see their own prices, their own order history, their own credit limit and their own assortment. Volume discounts are calculated automatically at unit level. Quotes are generated straight from the product catalogue and can be sent for approval to the customer’s purchaser. When the order lands, it is synced to your accounting system — Nordic systems such as Tripletex included — with correct VAT handling, and freight booking goes to your carrier without manual work.

For wholesalers with EDI requirements, we set up integration with the European PEPPOL standard, and X12 where needed. We connect to credit bureaus such as Experian or Creditsafe for automatic credit checks when a new B2B customer registers, and the credit limit is enforced in real time at checkout. The AI assistant reads ordering patterns and proposes replenishment offers to regular customers before they have thought of it themselves, and flags customers whose volume has dipped.

Implementation takes 1–2 weeks from agreement to launch. We migrate your existing product catalogue, customer register, price groups and order history from your current platform (Shopify, WooCommerce or a legacy ERP). You test the solution before go-live, and we follow up during the first week for fine-tuning.

FAQ. 04

How is B2B functionality in Astrove different from a generic web shop?+

It is native to the core: price groups per customer type (reseller, end customer, premium account), volume discounts at unit level, order credit limits and invoice payment, a B2B portal with its own login and order history, quick ordering via CSV/EDI, and per-customer assortment catalogues. It is not a bolt-on plugin: everything lives in the same database and shares one login.

Do you support EDI?+

Yes. We set up integration with the common EDI formats (PEPPOL, and X12 where needed) for electronic orders and invoices. Across much of Europe, PEPPOL is the standard for B2B e-invoicing — and we set it up for you.

What about credit checks and payment terms?+

We integrate with credit bureaus such as Experian or Creditsafe for automatic credit checks when a new B2B customer registers. Payment terms (net 14/30/60) are set per customer group. Order credit limits are enforced automatically at checkout.

Can AI help on the B2B side?+

Yes, significantly. The AI assistant can suggest products a customer should carry based on similar customers, predict when regular customers are due to reorder, generate quotes automatically from a customer’s price history, and flag customers whose order volume has dipped.

Which payment methods work for B2B?+

For B2B, the primary payment method is typically invoice. We also support Stripe for card payments, and we connect to your carriers for freight. Local wallet and BNPL options can be added for ad-hoc B2B purchases.
