We index your entire menu with full ingredient and allergen information, opening hours with special periods, parking and access information, and your policy for groups and special occasions. For table bookings we connect to the system you already use — TheFork, OpenTable, another reservation system, or a custom solution. The bot checks availability in real time, qualifies the guest (party size, preferred time, allergies, special requests), books directly, and sends a confirmation by email or SMS. You get everything collected in your booking system, not as fragmented messages in your inbox.
For takeaway and catering there is even more value. Takeaway orders route straight to your till system with a complete order and contact details. Catering requests are qualified by asking about the number of people, date, type of event and budget range, then routed to the right person on your team as a tidy summary you can act on directly. The chatbot qualifies the guest (party size, preferred time, allergies, special requests), checks availability and books directly. The guest receives a confirmation by email or SMS.
What about the menu and allergen info?+
We index your menu with full information: ingredients, allergens, calories (if you have them), vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free labelling, provenance. The bot answers "do you have anything gluten-free?", "does the Caesar salad contain egg?", "what do you recommend for vegans?" with a source reference to the menu. Update the menu and the bot updates automatically.
Does it work for takeaway and catering?+
Yes. For takeaway the bot can take orders and route them to your till system. For catering it qualifies the customer (number of people, date, type of event, budget range), generates a price estimate from your templates, and routes the request to the right person on your team — structured and clear, not a wall of loose text.
What about multiple languages for the tourist season?+
Astrove answers in your guests’ language — native quality across European languages, including English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. For city-centre restaurants with a large international crowd, the bot simply replies in whatever language the guest writes in. Additional languages can be set up on request.
What does it cost?+
The chatbot module is €0/month — you pay only for actual AI usage, typically a few cents per customer conversation, on prepaid credit. Standard setup via Google Tag Manager is free. If you need custom integrations (booking system, till, CRM), we quote a fixed price up front — a firm number, not a "from" price.
