How Astrove fits hotels and accommodation.

The hotel business runs on international traffic and time zones that never sleep. A guest in Tokyo plans a European holiday at 3 a.m. your time, a family in Germany compares hotels on Saturday evening, a corporate client from the US needs group-booking information outside your office hours. The front desk cannot handle all of this in parallel with checking in actual guests, and email-based enquiries get answered 12–24 hours later — by which point the guest has already booked somewhere else.

Astrove’s AI chatbot is built to be the hotel’s digital front desk outside opening hours and its stand-in during peak times. We index all the practical details: room types with prices and facilities, breakfast times and contents, parking, airport transport, pet policy, cancellation terms, check-in and check-out, local tips and sights. The bot answers all of this 24/7 with source references, in the same language the guest writes in.

For booking we set up an integration with the PMS you already use — Mews, Cloudbeds and comparable systems. The bot shows real-time availability, lets guests pick dates, party size and room type, and books directly in the PMS with an email confirmation. Channel-manager integration (SiteMinder, Cubilis) ensures a chatbot booking never overbooks against other channels. Complex requests (10+ rooms, conferences, weddings) are qualified and routed to the sales team with all the relevant details collected.

Multilingual is not an add-on — it is the core. Astrove answers in your guests’ language with native quality across European languages, and can be extended to Japanese, Chinese, Korean and others via a translation pipeline. The bot always replies in the language the guest writes in. For hotels with a large Asian or American audience that is often the difference between a booked guest and a lost enquiry. What is the need for hotels and accommodation?+

Guests plan bookings in the evening and at weekends from all over the world, often in other time zones. FAQ about facilities, parking, breakfast, airport transport, pet policy, cancellation and check-in comes in continuously from both future and current guests. The front desk gets overloaded with repetitive questions when they should be serving the guests who are actually in the house. A capable multilingual chatbot can handle much of this automatically.

Can the chatbot take room reservations?+

Yes. We set up an integration with the PMS you already use (Mews, Cloudbeds and others), your channel manager (SiteMinder, Cubilis) and your own booking engine. The bot shows real-time availability, prices and room types; lets guests book directly with an email confirmation; and escalates complex requests (group bookings, events) to the front desk.

How many languages are supported?+

Native quality across European languages — English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and the Nordic languages among them. Asian markets (Japanese, Chinese, Korean) are also supported, typically combined with a translation pipeline. The bot replies in the same language the guest writes in, and a language picker can be shown on the hotel website for a clear choice.

What about group bookings and events?+

For complex requests (10+ rooms, conferences, weddings, company events) the bot qualifies the lead by collecting the key details (dates, headcount, type of event, budget range, F&B needs) and routes it straight to the sales team as a tidy summary they can act on immediately. Sales gets a qualified lead, not a wall of loose text.

Can the bot answer local tips?+

Yes. We index your concierge information: restaurant recommendations, sights, walking routes, attractions with opening hours, transport information. Guests get answers 24/7 to “where is the nearest pharmacy?”, “can you recommend a restaurant for a family dinner?”, “is there a bus to the centre after midnight?”.

What does it cost for a mid-sized hotel?+

The chatbot module is €0/month — you pay only for the AI usage that actually happens, typically a few cents per guest conversation, on prepaid credit. Standard setup via Google Tag Manager is free. If you need special integrations (PMS integration and additional languages), we quote them concretely up front — you get a firm number, not a “from” price.
