The bot answers questions with a source reference to your own source document, so every answer is traceable and can be verified by the client or by you.
For deeper integration we connect to the accounting system you already use. When a logged-in client opens the chat (authenticated via a national e-ID scheme), the bot can answer "did you receive the invoice I sent yesterday?", "what is the balance on project account 4521?", "send me my latest payslip" — straight from the client’s own accounting data, without the accountant having to log in and check manually.
For complex professional questions (tax assessments, legal interpretation, individual advice) the bot automatically escalates to a human with the full conversation history. Can the chatbot integrate with our accounting system?+
Yes. We set up an integration with the accounting system you use — including Nordic systems such as Tripletex. Logged-in clients can ask "has my invoice been paid?", "what is the balance on project account X?", "send me my latest payslip" and get a concrete answer from their own accounting data. This requires the client to be identified via an e-ID scheme or a session token.
What about e-ID and client login?+
We support login via national e-ID schemes (such as BankID, MitID or itsme) for client portal flows. When a logged-in client opens the chat, the bot can see that client’s own data (invoices, projects, documents) and answer precisely. For anonymous visitors, the bot only handles general FAQs and routes to the contact form.
What about professional confidentiality?+
Accounting firms are bound by strict confidentiality under national accounting regulations. Astrove is built to be GDPR- and confidentiality-safe: all client data is stored tenant-isolated in our database in the EU (Germany) and never used for model training, and we provide a data processing agreement before any contract is signed. For extra-sensitive client types (public sector, high-sensitivity finance) we set up redaction and a stricter logging policy.
What does the solution cost for a firm with 50 clients?+
The chatbot module is €0/month — you pay only for actual AI usage, typically a few cents per client conversation, on prepaid credit. Standard setup via Google Tag Manager is free.
